Another Year Over
Well, another year draws to a close and what a year: The Olympics, The Jubilee, Barrack Obama, Felix Baumgartner, The Higgs Boson, Hurricaine Sandy, the Arab Spring; Comet went bust, the Pope went on Twitter, Gangnam Style went on You Tube.
And at Libertine: all in all a very good year. Eight new business wins: New Look, Man Investments, Fox’s Biscuits, the Qatar Financial Authority, Daisy Communications, Cineworld, Coap and Old Mutual.
Infact we only lost one pitch and that was for Comet!
We have continued to build our credentials particularly in brand strategy and digital and this year our income has been equally split across advertising, brand consultancy and social media. We have also spread our international footprint with Clients in Switzerland, the Middle East and South Africa.
Our creative output has also been amazingly varied: brand identity for Daisy, digital work for Artemis and social media on Fox’s have all stood out. And we a currently working on new campaigns for Spitfire and Old Mutual which will break early 2013.
2013 isn’t likely to be an easy year (nothing is in the current economic environment) but if we repeat this year’s new business performance it could be a stellar year for Libertine.
Happy New Year.
