Last Friday saw Libertine compete in the annual HMV 5 Aside football tournament in aid of their Charity Partner -  CLIC Sargent.

With 40 teams competing from the music, film, games and new media sectors,  the event was co-sponsored by EA Sports and Xbox 360 and held at Goals Wembley.

Team Libertine got off to a fantastic start with a string of solid victories, and went from strength to strength as the afternoon progressed. They succeeded in getting through to the semi-finals on penalties, only to be piped to the post by Shine PR Communications, and coming in a very respectable 4^th position over all.

The tournament winners were newcomers to the event, - Careline.

The day raised  approx £15,000 for CLIC Sargent and was a roaring success! An amazing effort, and a fantastic day in aid of a very worthwhile cause.
