Ignis launches new campaign
Ignis breaks with a new £2m advertising campaign this week. They manage over £65bn worth of investments and have a unique structure that allows their fund managers more freedom to generate strong performance for investors. The campaign which runs in outdoor posters, taxi's, national and trade press as well as online uses the line 'the licence to perform' and takes a humorous approach based around the classic spy movie genre. It's a very distinctive campaign for Ignis designed to create disruption in a crowded market. It taps into a unique aspect of the business and the company's personality has allowed us to be quite challenging and creative.

Online ad spend overtakes TV!
by davidw
30. September 2009 14:07
For some years it has looked certain that one day the internet would overtake television to become Britain's largest advertising medium. A study by PwC for the Internet Advertising Bureau this week says that day has come.
The report shows that online advertising rose to 23.5% of the total market in the first half of this year, while TV was on 21.9%. Online spending grew 4.6% to £1.752bn in the first half of 2009, while TV spending shrank 16.1% to £1.639bn.
Advocates for commercial braodcasting protest that the two figures are not directly comparable, since online marketing covers a wider range of activity than broadcast adverts - E-mail campaigns, classified adverts, display ads and search marketing are all classed as online advertising.
However, it's tough to argue against the trend.

The first execution running in national press, outdoor and trade press uses an arresting visual of a scarred hunters face and a well summised line which says: Form is temporary, class is permanent. This is emphasisng the unique set of skills and culture found at Artemis which gives them confidence in the foundation of their investment approach, even if they have picked up a few scars along the way!
