Libertine have been working with longstanding client HMV for both the UK and ROI, on their new Sale Campaign, which broke yesterday.

The TV campaign is also being supported in press and instore.

Sharon Horgan, our very own HMV voice over artiste for ROI, stars tonight in a brand new comedy drama on BBC 3 -  Stanley Park.

Written by budding young writer Leo Richardson, the show is set in Croyden and focuses on a group of young friends living on the same street struggling to find out who they are. With a stellar cast, it looks certain to be a hit!

Last Friday saw Libertine compete in the annual HMV 5 Aside football tournament in aid of their Charity Partner -  CLIC Sargent.

With 40 teams competing from the music, film, games and new media sectors,  the event was co-sponsored by EA Sports and Xbox 360 and held at Goals Wembley.

Team Libertine got off to a fantastic start with a string of solid victories, and went from strength to strength as the afternoon progressed. They succeeded in getting through to the semi-finals on penalties, only to be piped to the post by Shine PR Communications, and coming in a very respectable 4^th position over all.

The tournament winners were newcomers to the event, - Careline.

The day raised  approx £15,000 for CLIC Sargent and was a roaring success! An amazing effort, and a fantastic day in aid of a very worthwhile cause.

 Longstanding Libertine client HMV, scooped a hat trick with three wins in three categories at the 30th Anniversary Awards of the BVA (British Video Association) last week. The wins included - Retailer of the Year, Blu-ray Retailer of the Year, and the ‘Retailer Marketing initiative of the year' prize for its Get Closer and My Inspiration marketing campaigns.
