Ignis launches new campaign
Ignis breaks with a new £2m advertising campaign this week. They manage over £65bn worth of investments and have a unique structure that allows their fund managers more freedom to generate strong performance for investors. The campaign which runs in outdoor posters, taxi's, national and trade press as well as online uses the line 'the licence to perform' and takes a humorous approach based around the classic spy movie genre. It's a very distinctive campaign for Ignis designed to create disruption in a crowded market. It taps into a unique aspect of the business and the company's personality has allowed us to be quite challenging and creative.

Style bars on the move
by gemmab
5. February 2010 11:58
Worldsbestbars.com is an international Pernod Ricard sponsored site created and managed by Libertine featuring over 2,000 style bars. Each month the site generates around 300,000 unique visits and due the increased use of smart phones, 5% of site users are already accessing the site via mobile devices.
February sees the launch of the World's Best Bars mobile site. Users will now be able to navigate more easily, browsing through their nearest bars using GPS or searching for specific bars by name or location. They'll also be able to let us know what they think by uploading bar reviews while on the move.
Although more stripped back and functional than the main site, the mobile version will retain WBB's newest feature, expert's choice reviews.
Its really useful while on the move, so bookmark it on your phone!

HMV LIVE
by clared
15. October 2009 11:24
On Monday HMV's (one of our clients) Christmas countdown was kick started by
their annual conference. After a day talking business with all the labels
and suppliers HMV work alongside, it was time to dim the lights and let
HMV stage a live show that displayed why the company’s recent expansion into
live events can only mean great things for the industry.
First on was the compare of the evening, comic Stephen
Kamos, who did a great job of warming up the crowd before the electric Friendly
Fires (first of the music acts) took to the stage. Their
techno/rock tunes made them the ideal band to quite literally get the party
started. Following the Friendly Fires the audience was treated to
more comedy from Manchester’s Jason Manford whilst the stage was prepped for the next live act The Cribs. The evening was brought to an end by
Kasabian who as always played a thrilling live set. All in all a superb
evening with great music, comedy and atmosphere!

Patak's Family Cookbook is live
by ameetc
13. October 2009 15:55
We've just launched Patak's new website having been appointed as their digital agency a few months back. The website launch marks Patak’s first major brand activity since Associated British Foods acquired the company from the founding Pathak family in May 2007. Of course, we started the project with a detailed look at the sector and the brand. We very quickly realised that the love the Pathak family have for Indian food is very much shared with the love that us Brits have for curry and so we thought the best way of bringing the brand and the family to life was to build their first ever online cookbook.

We worked very closely with the Patak's marketing team and Anjali Pathak to make it all happen. The site has over 200 recipes ranging from traditional dishes passed down the generations to more modern Indian recipes that Anjali has developed more recently. The recipes form the backbone of the site and neatly tie up with products that Patak's make. There's plenty of opportunity for site users to share their love of curry by leaving comments, rating recipes and even finding out what type of curry lover they are (I'm a Korma-Kraver).

(And of course, as with all sites we build, its optimised for search engines.)

And better still the idea of the Family Cookbook has the potential to spin into so many other pieces of activity and media channels - watch this space.
(The team at Libertine were also lucky enough to have Anjali spend a day teaching us how cook a decent Indian meal.)
Thank you Patak's team for making this a happy project.
