Let's hear it for the videogaming industry which appears to be defying the recession. As consumers choose to stay at home, they are obviously entertaining themselves with a little gaming. Microsoft, for example, have reported their Xbox 360 sales are up 124% on this time last year and a Google survey of most searched for products shows gaming is number 1. So there are some retail good news stories out there and if staying at home over Christmas means you eat too much pud, you can just hop on your Wii Fit Balance Board and burn off those extra pounds.
