What if email had yet to be invented and you were to come up with it today - what would it look like?  Well, it would probably be a lot more whizzy with a combination of instant messaging, social networking and work in real time. And that's exactly what Google have gone and done with Google Wave, which they claim is the next generation of internet communication. You get the feeling that they want Google Wave to compete with Facebook, which of course they tried to buy a short while ago but Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg said, "No thanks". Guess he doesn't need the money.
