Our iconic Spitfire work helped build an incredibly popular brand. However, it needed updating with a new campaign to broaden the appeal.
Approach
The comedy duo Armstrong and Miller reprised their roles as the Spitfire pilots from the popular sketch show.
Solution
Over the course of a two-year campaign we ran a series of TV ads tied into on and off trade activation, collateral materials and dedicated packaging.
Result
Year on year sales of Spitfire rose to become the biggest selling bottled ale in the UK.
